Football — A Fantastic Season!
The Year 9 Team has had a fantastic season of football, not only winning the League and Cup double but doing so without losing a single match (brilliant). During the Cup run the Year 9 Team was strengthened by the presence of River Marsh stepping up from Year 8; however the cup final was a testing situation for most of the players and they showed their strong characters to come through and win. The Year 10 Team has had equal success on the football pitch having won the League and Cup double. They had a very close league which they had to battle hard to win by 1 point from the last game of the season thanks to a 1-1 draw against Grammar. The cup was made easier thanks to the added talents of 5 Year 9s stepping up into an already very strong squad; T. Pattimore, D. Cooley, T. De La Mare, W. Garnett, J. Gilvear.
